PAC president speaks at Chamber breakfast

Dr. Robert Garza, president of Palo Alto College (PAC), served as keynote speaker for the South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Southside Networking Breakfast on Thursday, Aug. 8. The South Chamber Networking Breakfast provides an opportunity for members and non-members to engage with each other to grow their business. Dr. Garza spoke about the importance of education in south San Antonio and how PAC and chamber members can work together to provide education to members' employees.

 

PAC students perform in Australia

Five Palo Alto College (PAC) students traveled to Sydney, Australia, to learn and study music with other young musicians from around the world and perform at the Sydney Opera House as part of the 2019 Young Adult Honors Performance Series. The students spent six days in Sydney studying under master conductors, getting to know accomplished musicians from around the world. One of the five PAC students, Alexander Montalvo, auditioned and earned the only solo in the performance.
